Downloading the Twitch App
In order to get started, go to the Feed The Beast website and download the Twitch App or the FTB (Legacy) launcher.

Installing the Twitch App
Run the downloaded setup file, which will begin the installation process after you have accepted the EULA. The Client installer may have to update your .NET framework – it will do so automatically. The client may need to undergo an update when logging in for the first time. It will automatically restart and install the latest update for you.
Shortcuts will place a Twitch shortcut on your desktop
Please note that you will need a Twitch.com account in order to use the Twitch App. You can register for a free account on Twitch.tv or on the Client login page.

Using the Twitch App
You can find an entire tutorial on how to download the desired modpack over at Twitch.tv

Technic Packs Setup
Getting the Launcher
Before using the Technic Launcher, you need to have Java 8 installed. MMCC officially recommends the AdoptOpenJdk builds, due to their superior license and availability to the official Oracle builds. Follow the instructions here for your platform to install OpenJDK 8 (select the Hotspot VM). Once Java is downloaded, the Technic Launcher is available on the Technic Platform website. It works on Linux, Mac, and Windows. To download it, simply go to the download URL, scroll down until you see buttons for Linux, Mac, and Windows, and then click the button for your platform. The file that you receive should be directly executable on your platform. Simply place it in a convenient spot for you. Once you launch it, you will be asked some questions such as for your Minecraft username and password and for where to install the Minecraft files to. Answer these questions as you see fit.

Finding, Installing, and Launching Packs
Once you have finished setting up the launcher, when you open it (unless you must log-in again, which sometimes happens) you'll see the main launcher. The Technic Launcher has 3 different screens: Discover, Modpacks, and News. For general usage, the Modpacks screen (pictured on the right) is the most interesting. To access this screen (pictured on the right) simply click on the "MODPACKS" text in the left of blue bar at the top of the launcher window.

Once you're there, some modpacks (e.g. Tekkit Lite) are instantly listed on the left. To play one of these packs, click on the pack to select it, and, once it is selected, click "Install" in the lower-right of the launcher. After the pack is installed, a "Play" button will appear where the "Install" button was previously. This button, as the name suggessts, launches the pack.

Some packs, however, are not official Technic packs and thus must be added manually. To do so, type a fragment of at least 3 characters of the pack's name in the text box labelled "Add Pack or Search" to find it. For example, to install GT New Horizons (its name in Technic), you may type "new," "horizon," or a variety of other things. Once you've searched for the pack, the left pack list will be replaced by the search results automatically (there is no need to press enter or click any button — just typing is sufficient). Just as before, you can select any result and then install it.

Tweaking Settings & Accessing Minecraft Folder
Many players of Technic packs will want to tweak settings. The settings in the Technic Launcher are divided into two categories: per-pack settings (including the pack's version and install folder) and launcher settings that apply to all packs (including Java arguments and memory allocation). To access per-pack settings, first select the modpack whose settings you want to change, and then click "Modpack Options" about 1/8th of the way down from the top of the window on the right, with a gear next to it. In the small window that appears when this button is clicked, it is possible to change the version of the pack, reinstall it, open its Minecraft folder, or move it. To access the launcher settings, click on the "Launcher Options" button with a gear at the right of the launcher at the bottom of the blue stripe at the top. This will bring up a helpful settings window with a large variety of options. The most interesting to you are likely in the "Java Settings" tab, however. It is worth briefly exploring these settings to determine if you want to change any.

Overview
In order to keep Modded Minecraft Club a more orderly, calm, and happy place, we have instituted several rules. These rules are what we believe to be the minimum required to create a community of the type we intend to create. If you have any questions or suggestions about any of the rules please feel free to post them on our forums or ask them to a staff member.

These rules are divided into two categories: Global Rules (which apply everywhere, on the forum and all servers), voice chat rules (which apply on the voice channel in Discord), and rules specific to each server.

Rules
Global Rules
*No griefing whatsoever, even in unclaimed areas.
*Claim all builds. See how here here.
*Do not claim any land unless you intend to build in it. Do not simply claim land features because they look nice. Claiming land to prevent other players from getting to it before you are able to do so is fine, but, a staff member may remove your claim if they feel you are taking too long. Players are free to request such a removal if they see a place that they would like to build.
*If you want to build a base within 128 blocks along the x or z axis of any other player, you need their permission first.
*Failure to claim a build will prevent you from obtaining a refund of any items lost if it is griefed. You are guaranteed a refund of lost items if a claimed build is griefed due to a bug in the server or any of its mods.
**If you trust a player in your claim and they grief you you are not entitled to a refund.
**Staff may, at their discretion, provide a refund even if you are not entitled to it.
*No utilizing exploits in the modpack and/or server
**This rule bans AFK pools, AFK machines, or any device that bypasses the automatic AFK-kick. We need to ensure that players don't load chunks when they are not online, due to Minecraft's limitations.
**Players may load chunks while offline by voting for the server.
*Report any and all exploits you find or otherwise become aware of via an email to john01dav@gmail.com or 132@ikl.sh as soon as you are able to do so
*No slander about other players or people in general (defined as one or more disparaging and false claims)
*No discussion or participation in illegal activities in Canada, Montreal, Quebec, the United States (including all states) and your location (ie. piracy)
*No spawn-killing.
*No spamming, in chat, forum threads, or otherwise.
*No racism, sexism, homophobia, or other forms of bigotry. This will result in an immediate permanent ban
*No profanity above PG-13 level. This roughly correlates to a single swear word every 2 hours per player (although this is not a hard limit), and no definitions of swear words (jokes that rely on such definitions are also not allowed).
*Always be respectful to all other players and staff members. Disagreeing constructively is not disrespectful, ad hominem and other such attacks are.
*The use of alternative accounts to evade punishments or bypass server restrictions such as chunk loading or claiming limits is prohibited. Alternate accounts for other reasons are allowed, however they must be declared to a staff member.
*Only English is to be spoken in the server chat and on the forums. This is to ensure that our moderators are able to monitor what is being talked about -- we do not want rule-breaking things being discussed. We are open to taking on new bilingual (or more) staff members to allow more languages to be spoken in server chat.
**When talking to a staff member, you can use whatever language you prefer.
*Do not pester staff members for free items, ranks, or anything of that nature (except for the member rank).
**Asking in the case of being griefed, whether or not your build was claimed, is not pestering.
*To become a member, establish yourself in the world and then talk to a staff member (see this page for more information).
*A moderator’s say is final on all matters and supersedes what is written in these rules, unless they have violated the Moderator Guidelines and except in the case of an appeal.
**All appeals must contain new information that was not properly covered by the original moderator. Our definition of "new information" is very open, and essentially only bans extremely basic appeals with no reasoning behind them.
*Do not attempt to bypass any world borders.
*If there have been 3 months since you were last on MMCC, your base(s) and other claims are eligible to be transferred to another player. We can exempt you from this rule for extended absences if you notify us ahead of time. If you are interested in taking over a base, please talk to a staff member.
*RFTools dimensions are not allowed -- at all.
*Do not attempt to chunk load anything with any chunk loader other than the FTBUtilities mod.
*Do not attempt to gain off-line chunk loading, except through voting.

----

Voice Chat Rules
*Anyone may join the chat, unless a staff member removes them for violating these rules. That means telling someone to leave, unless they are violating these rules, is not allowed. A player may ask another person to leave due to rule violations, however, this is nothing more than a request. If you do not like their non-violating behaviour, you may leave.
*To ensure that people can participate in the chat who do not want to use their microphone or who do not have one, all participants in that chat must either be in-game on any server and watching its chat or watching the #general text chat on Discord. Failure to do so in a repeated and malicious manner will result in loss of voice chat privileges.
**To help anyone who prefers to participate without talking, you may be server muted by a staff member upon request to avoid accidentally leaving your microphone unmuted and spilling private information.
*Do not spam the voice chat. This includes music (you may listen to your own, keep it out of the chat), screaming, excessive background noise or static, and any form of "ear rape".
*If asked to use push to talk by a staff member, use push to talk. Strongly consider it if asked by another player.

----

Omnifactory Rules
*Snad recipe is disabled. Please go to /spawn for info on how to use and obtain it.

----

FTB Revelation Rules
*RFTools dimensions are not allowed -- at all.
*When using an RFTools builder as a quarry you must use a clearing quarry card to ensure that other players know that area has been mined and do not attempt to mine it again.
**When using an RFTools builder in the Nether or in the Deep Dark, you must use a non-clearing quarry card, to prevent flowing blocks. The area will still appear as mined because the netherrack/cobblestone is replaced with dirt.
*Any activity that damages the world (RFTools builders acting as quarries, harvesting a large area of a forest, plundering a village, etc.) shall be done in the Nether, End, Deep Dark, or Mining World (accessible via a portal at /spawn) to prevent aesthetic damage to the main world and to allow us to easily reset the mining world to bring in new resources without disrupting structures.
**There is an exception for the area immediately around your house.
*All worlds except the overworld and space will be reset periodically. As such, you should not place your base there.

----

SevTech: Ages Rules
*All use of destructive, automated, mining methods are strictly forbidden to preven aesthetic damage to the world. This includes but is not limited to RFTools builders, even when replacing with dirt.
**Replacing with dirt makes an area of the world useless to future miners without clearly marking is so, leading to wasted effort.
**There is an exception for the area immediately around your house.
*All worlds except the overworld and space will be reset periodically. As such, you should not place your base there.

----

Enigmatica 2: Expert Rules
*RFTools dimensions are not allowed -- at all.
*When using an RFTools builder as a quarry you must use a clearing quarry card to ensure that other players know that area has been mined and do not attempt to mine it again.
**When using an RFTools builder in the Nether or in the Deep Dark, you must use a non-clearing quarry card, to prevent flowing blocks. The area will still appear as mined because the netherrack/cobblestone is replaced with dirt.
Overview
On MMCC we try to avoid banning items, but, from time to time it becomes necessary to do so both to improve the quality of the server in general and to prevent exploits. Below is a list of banned items by server along with a reason. If you have any questions, please ask a staff member or post them on the forums. It should be noted that any chunk-loading items other than the ChickenChunks chunk loader are banned on all servers, and ChickenChunks is only allowed on the direwolf20 server.

Overview
When first joining the server, players are given the Guest rank.

Member is a rank that can be accessed for free by all players.

How to be promoted
To become a member, you simply need to establish yourself as part of the server by building a few basic machines. As with any complex modpack, our modpack allows for many ways to accomplish the same thing. The basic task you must perform to become a member is to make an ore processing setup that meets the following requirements:
#It has a single input and a single output,
#It duplicates ores (one ore to at least two ingots).

:The power source can be something like a coal-based generator, provided you have plenty of fuel (at the discretion of a staff member, but usually about a stack is good), and/or a renewable resource such as solar power and battery setup that is able to keep your ore processing powered 24/7.

Chunk loading is not required.

Once you have these things setup, ask a staff member in Discord to verify by posting in #screenshots-and-pictures and they will promote you to the member rank or explain to you what you are missing. When verifying through Discord, you will also need to show your FTBU Claim (See: Claiming). The member rank is a rank given to those who have shown they have a basic understanding of the modpack and have spent time on the server.

The exceptions to this are:

- FTB Interactions: You only need to reach the overworld.

- Enigmatica 2: Expert: Setup does not have to double ore output.

- Sevtech: Ages: You only need to reach the beginning of Age 1.

- Gregblock: You only need a basic steam ore processing setup.

Perks of the Member rank
Once you have been promoted to a member, you gain access to the following additional features:
*The ability to set greeting and farewell messages on your claim(s),
*The ability to "log in" to Discord in-game to allow your messages to appear to be said by you in the Discord interface,
*The ability to name your claims,
*The ability to subdivide your claims and provide more fine-grained permission in that way,
*The ability to set up infinite /home points.
*(If applicable) The ability to access Member-only Mob Farms (e.g. Enderman, Nether, etc.)

Claiming on FTB Revelations, Enigmatica 2: Expert, StoneBlock 2, and Infinity Evolved
On all servers the protected plots of land where players build are called "claims". A claim is a predefined area in the world, assigned to a player, that is protected from breaking/placing of blocks by other players or by the environment.

FTBUtilities Claiming & Chunkloading Map
To get started with claiming your own piece of land, open your inventory (keybound to E by default) and click this icon in the top-left corner of your screen: . A map of your surrounding shall open.

On this map, simply click on the chunks that you want to claim for yourself.

In order to chunkload your claimed chunks, shift-click the area that you want to be chunkloaded. The blue border that your claimed chunks have will turn red, signaling that you have started chunkloading that specific chunk. Keep in mind that you can only keep loaded the chunks that you claim.

To learn more about chunkloading, please visit the official wiki page of FTBUtilities.

Trusting other players
You may at some point decide that you want to allow other players to access your claims. You can do this by adding a player to your team. To do this, click on the + button in your inventory. Here, you can use the FTBUtilities interface to add someone to your team. You can then set whether members of your team have access to building, accessing containers such as chests, or using devices such as levers.

Video
Some players may prefer to learn land claiming from a video. As such, here is a video to show how claiming works. Pleas be aware, however, that this video is not specific to MMCC and some minor details may be different.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hE4f72U9eNI

Claiming on SevTech: Ages
Things are a little bit different on the Sevtech: Ages server.

First you must create a team using:
<code>/team create [team name]</code>

Then you can bring up the in-game chunk border view by pressing F9 on your keyboard.
Stand in the chunk(s) you wish to claim or unclaim, then use:
<code>/chunks claim</code>
<code>/chunks unclaim</code>

For chunk loading claimed chunks use:
<code>/chunks load</code>
<code>/chunks unload</code>

Keep in mind that you have to go through this process for <u>every single chunk of land that you wish to claim</u>.

To join a team or invite trusted players to your team, use:
Team Owner <code>/team status [player] invited</code>
Invited Player <code>/team join [team name]</code>

Why is it different on SevTech: Ages?
The Feed the Beast Utilities mod is unfortunately not compatible with the default SevTech: Ages modpack.

However, through lots of testing by our staff, we were able to find a stable, server sided version with full support for all features. The GUI in the client sided version can crash SevTech: Ages clients.

Alternatively, FTBUtils features can be used via commands on the SevTech: Ages server.

Although users have reported that by installing Forge 1.12.2-14.23.4.2732, FTBLib 5.3.0.49, and FTBUtilities 5.3.0.49 you should be able to get the client running smoothly. Please note that this is not supported and you should do so at your own risk.

132ikl: /* Global Rules */

*The items listed on the Banned Items wiki page are banned on their respective servers. Using them will result in, at minimum, their removal, and, at maximum, the owner of them being permanently banned.

*To ensure that people can participate in the chat who do not want to use their microphone or who do not have one, all participants in that chat must either be in-game on any server and watching its chat or watching the $general text chat on Discord.
----

FTB Revelation Rules
*Do not attempt to chunk load anything with any chunk loader other than the FTBUtilities mod.
*Do not attempt to gain off-line chunk loading, except through voting.
*All worlds except the overworld will be reset periodically. As such, you should not place your base there.

----

SevTech: Ages Rules
*Do not attempt to chunk load anything with any chunk loader other than the FTBUtilities mod.
*Do not attempt to gain off-line chunk loading, except through voting.
*All worlds except the overworld will be reset periodically. As such, you should not place your base there.

----

Enigmatica 2: Expert Rules
*Do not attempt to chunk load anything with any chunk loader other than the FTBUtilities mod.
*Do not attempt to gain off-line chunk loading, except through voting.
*RFTools dimensions are not allowed -- at all.
*When using an RFTools builder as a quarry you must use a clearing quarry card to ensure that other players know that area has been mined and do not attempt to mine it again.

<strong>Welcome to the Modded Minecraft Club Wiki!</strong><br>
This wiki contains all of the information you need to know about Modded Minecraft Club. If you wish to make an edit, please propose it to a staff member on Discord or on our Forums. Editing rights are given out to staff members only.

About the Server
Modded Minecraft Club is a network with an emphasis on community and the player. Our goal is to create a safe, respectful, lag-free, fun, player-versus-environment, SMP community in Modded Minecraft. To accomplish this, we have a good staff team, moderator guidelines to keep them in check, and well thought out rules. Currently, we have an FTB Revelation, Enigmatica 2 Expert, and Sevtech server. See the quick links section below for more information.
Moderator Guidelines

132ikl: /* Guidelines */

Overview
At MMCC, one of our main priorities is to prevent moderator abuse. We want to ensure that all of our moderators, admins, and other staff members work to make the community as good as it can be instead of satisfying their personal urges for power trips. These moderator guidelines exist both to create a formal process for defence against power-hungry staff members, but also to give staff members a set of guidelines that they can use to ensure that they are moderating well.

How To Enforce
Firstly, these are guidelines -- not hard and fast rules. Staff members have some leeway in both interpretation and application and are allowed to make case-by-case exceptions to them as they see fit. With that being said, however, they should be generally followed and their spirit should always be followed. If you see a moderator breaching these guidelines, to you or others, you should first assume that it is a mistake and privately talk to them to remind them of the specific guideline that they are breaching. If that fails for any reason (ie. it was not a mistake, or the staff member refuses to consider what you are saying), then you should contact MMCC's owners at john01dav@gmail.com or 132ikl@gmail.com. The owners commit to quickly resolve any problematic breaches of these guidelines. Additionally, if there is a misbehaving staff member who is not technically breaching these guidelines, please feel free to contact the owners anyway. These are guidelines, not rules.

Suggesting Changes
Here at MMCC, we take the advice of our players very seriously. As such, if you have any ideas for improving these guidelines, please contact a staff member.

Guidelines
* Staff members are required to hear all sides of a story before taking any moderator action, and must make a good faith effort to fully understand what happened.
** Staff members may temporarily ban players from one or more MMCC services while awaiting information in order to prevent further damage. Such bans should be used as a last resort, and should be kept to a minimum length and have plenty of communication.
* Staff members should not issue punishments in any scenario, but instead should take actions to protect MMCC's community. This means that bans, kicks, temporary bans, etc. are to be used to remove someone from the community because they are causing a problem, not to punish that player. For example, if someone joins the server and spouts racist slurs, they should be banned because those racist slurs are damaging to our community, and not as punishment for racist slurs. MMCC is not a governmental organization and, as such, does not aim to punish or discipline.
** In practice, this generally means that a player should be given a chance to stop what they are doing before being removed from the community, and should generally be given the benefit of the doubt in case of any ambiguity.
* Staff members are still players, and should treat other players accordingly. This means participating in MMCC as a player however much or as little as they want, and ensuring that they don't see themselves or act as if they are on a higher plane of existence.
* Staff members must make a best effort to be consistent in how they respond to rule violations.
* If a player does something that the staff member judges is clearly wrong, but is not forbidden by the server rules or applicable laws, they may not take any action other than requesting that the player stop as a player and talking to other staff members and players about creating a new rule. Although the staff member may be very right in that a certain thing should not be allowed, it is unreasonable to expect players to read their mind and follow unwritten rules.
* All staff members should take appeals seriously, whether or not they are the staff member who issued the original moderator action. This means providing detailed evidence of the infraction, and giving players a chance to tell their story.
** If practical, staff members should contact the staff member who issued the moderator action originally before processing an appeal. Delaying appeal responses is an acceptable side effect of this process.
* Staff members should, at all times, respect the doctrine of "Innocent until proven guilty beyond a reasonable doubt."
* Ex post facto enforcement of rules is strictly forbidden. This means that a rule may not be enforced on actions that happened before the rule was created. The edit log of the wiki is to say when rules were created.

132ikl: /* Voice Chat Rules */

Overview
In order to keep Modded Minecraft Club a more orderly, calm, and happy place, we have instituted several rules. These rules are what we believe to be the minimum required to create a community of the type we intend to create. If you have any questions about any of the rules please feel free to post them on our forums or ask them to a staff member.

These rules are divided into two categories: Global Rules (which apply everywhere, on the forum and all servers) and Direwolf20 & AllTheMods 3 rules (which apply only on the Direwolf20 1.12 server)

Rules
Global Rules
*No griefing whatsoever, even in unclaimed areas.
*Claim all builds. Build vertically or wait for additional claim blocks if you are unable to claim new land. See how here here.
**You may also ask staff members to provide additional claim blocks for already built structures, but you risk getting griefed without a refund while the structure is being built if you choose this route.
*Do not claim any land unless you intend to build in it. Do not simply claim land features because they look nice. Claiming land to prevent other players from getting to it before you are able to do so is fine, but, a staff member may remove your claim if they feel you are taking too long.
*If you want to build a base within 128 blocks along the x or z axis of any other player, you need their permission first. Based built before September 22nd 2018 are grandfathered in and have an exception to this rule.
*Failure to claim a build will prevent you from obtaining a refund of any items lost if it is griefed. You are guaranteed a refund of lost items if a claimed build is griefed due to a bug in the server.
**If you trust a player in your claim and they grief you you are not entitled to a refund.
*No utilizing exploits in the modpack and/or server
**This rule bans AFK pools, AFK machines, or any device that bypasses the automatic AFK-kick. We need to ensure that players don't load chunks when they are not online, due to Minecraft's limitations.
*Report any and all exploits you find or otherwise become aware of via an email to john01dav@gmail.com as soon as you are able to do so
*No spawn-killing.
*The items listed on the Banned Items wiki page are banned on their respective servers. Using them will result in, at minimum, their removal, and, at maximum, the owner of them being permanently banned.
*Always be respectful to all other players and staff members.
*The use of alternative accounts to evade punishments or bypass server restrictions such as chunk loading limits is prohibited. Alternate accounts for other reasons are allowed, however they must be declared to a staff member.
*Only English is to be spoken in the server chat and on the forums. This is to ensure that our moderators are able to monitor what is being talked about -- we do not want inappropriate things being discussed. We are open to taking on new bilingual (or more) staff members to allow more languages to be spoken in server chat.
*Do not pester staff members for free items, ranks, or anything of that nature (except for the member rank)
**You may ask for item refunds in the scenario where you are griefed.
*To become a member, establish yourself in the world and then talk to a staff member (see this page for more information)
*A moderator’s say is final on all matters and supersedes what is written in these rules. If you believe a moderator is misunderstanding the situation, you may tell them and provide additional information, but, if that does not change their mind that is the end of it.

----
Voice Chat Rules
*You may be in, at maximum, one voice chat at a time. (ie. don't be in multiple chats on multiple devices or browsers)
*Anyone may join the chat, unless a staff member removes them for violating these rules. That means telling someone to leave, unless they are violating these rules, is not allowed. If you do not like their non-violating behaviour, you may leave.
*There is one chat for each server. To ensure that people can join the chat who do not want to use their microphone or who do not have one can participate, all participants in that chat must either be in-game on the corresponding server, or watching the corresponding text chat on Discord. Failure to do so in a repeated and malicious manner will result in loss of voice chat privileges.
*Do not spam the voice chat. This includes music (you may listen to your own, keep it out of the chat), screaming, excessive background noise or static, and any form of "ear rape".
*If asked to use push to talk by a staff member, use push to talk. Strongly consider it if asked by another player.
----

Direwolf20 & ATM3 Rules
*Pumping lava from the nether, lava lakes, or anywhere else is not allowed because flowing liquid blocks are liable to lag the server. This does not apply to other, uncommon liquids
**You can, however, place a ranged pump from the Ranged Pumps mod in a crafting grid to obtain a creative drum that will provide unlimited free lava.
*Do not attempt to chunk load anything outside of the ChickenChunks mod on direwolf20 and the FTBUtilities mod on atm3.
*Any activity that damages the world (RFTools builders acting as quarries, harvesting a large area of a forest, plundering a village, etc.) shall be done in the Nether, End, Deep Dark, or Mining World (accessible at /warp minehere) to prevent aesthetic damage to the main world and to allow us to easily reset the mining world to bring in new resources without disrupting structures.
**There is an exception for the area immediately around your house, provided the activity will not result in a large hole in the ground and does not violate the visible-only quarry rule.
*The /warp minehere world will be reset periodically with at least 2 days warning. If you will be leaving for an extended period of time (ie. a vacation) you are advised to remove all quarries, etc. from the mining world. Items lost due to a reset will not be refunded.

----

FTB Continuum Rules
*Pumping lava from the nether, lava lakes, or anywhere else is not allowed because flowing liquid blocks are liable to lag the server. This does not apply to other, uncommon liquids.
**You can, however, place a ranged pump from the Ranged Pumps mod in a crafting grid to obtain a creative drum that will provide unlimited free lava.
*Do not attempt to chunk load anything outside of the FTBUtilities mod.
*RFTools dimensions are not allowed -- at all.
*Any form of destructive automatic mining shall be done in the Deep Dark or on Advanced Rocketry planets (accessible at /warp minehere) to prevent aesthetic damage to the main world and to allow us to easily reset the deep dark to bring in new resources without disrupting structures. Automatic mining that does not destroy physical blocks, or replenishes them (ie. automatic farming) is allowed anywhere.
*The deep dark will be reset periodically with at least 2 days warning. If you will be leaving for an extended period of time (ie. a vacation) you are advised to remove all quarries, etc. from the mining world. Items lost due to a reset will not be refunded.

----

FTB Sky Adventures Rules
*Do not attempt to chunk load anything outside of the FTBUtilities mod.
*RFTools dimensions are not allowed -- at all.
*Players are not allowed to scam other players using the in game economy. This includes any interaction between two or more players appearing to be an economic act (ie. a trade) in which any player does not fulfill their obligations under said interaction.
*You may not claim other players islands. Doing so will be treated as griefing, and the claim will be transferred to its rightful owner.

Overview
In case the FTB Beyond and Age of Engineering servers, our economy is item-based. We use MMCC Credits (or just "credits") for facilitating trading between players or between players and the server. You can spend credits at /warp shop on FTB Beyond.

MMCC Credits are uncraftable, but you may get them through both voting and reviewing.

Trading
On the 1.10 servers, we have set up Trade-o-Mats as shops, for items of interest to players.

There are two kinds of shops:
*Admin shops
*Player-made shops

The only difference between these two is that, while Admin shops have an unlimited stock, player-made ones need to be constantly supplied with the selling resources.

In order to use the Trade-o-Mats, right click them and a GUI will show up. This is your trading interface.

On the left side, you can see the following:
*Want: represents the items you should provide
*Offer: represents the items you will be given
*Stock: represents the remaining number of items in the Trade-o-Mat. This is either a number that decreases with every trade or ∞, meaning infinite items.

In order to trade, you have to put the required items listed next to Want in the upper right slot of the interface.
The Trade-o-Mat will take them and give you in exchange the items shown next to Offer.

Renting a Shop
Players can rent out stores at /warp shop.
*To rent an entire store, it costs a one time fee of 16 MMCC Credits.

If the player becomes inactive for over a month, or they no longer want the shop, it will be revoked from them, unless they have stated that they will be inactive.

Inside the a player shop, they can build freely as long as they don’t significantly change the appearence of the shop.

Trade-O-Mats and player safes will be provided, along with Extra Utilities 2 screens with a power source which players can use to display advertisements for their shops.

To set it up, place whatever you would to accept as payment in the left top slot, and whatever the Trade-O-Mat will give out in the bottom left slot. The numbers in the stack matter. For example, putting 2 Gold Ingots in the top left slot and 20 Redstone Dust in the bottom left slot will set the Trade-O-Mat to accept 2 Gold Ingots as payment, and in return to give out 20 Redstone Dust. The items you put in the left slots to set the item being sold and the price will stay there until changed. Multiple sets can be purchased at once, so someone who uses that Trade-O-Mat and puts in 6 Gold Ingots in the top right slot will get 120 Redstone Dust in the bottom slot.

132ikl: /* Rules */

132ikl: /* How to be promoted */

#It has a single input and a single output,
#It duplicates ores (one ore to at least two ingots),
#It has a power source that can run 24/7.

:The power source can be something like a coal-based generator, provided you have plenty of fuel (at the discretion of a staff member, but usually about a stack is good), and/or a renewable resource such as solar power and battery setup that is able to keep your ore processing powered 24/7.

Chunk loading is not required.

Once you have these things setup, ask a staff member in-game or in Discord to verify and they will promote you to the member rank or explain to you what you are missing. If verifying through Discord, you will also need to show your FTBU Claim (See: Claiming). The member rank is a rank given to those who have shown they have a basic understanding of the modpack and have spent time on the server.

Overview
At Modded Minecraft Club we use FTB Utilities. This mod allows for simple, easy-to-understand chunk claiming and loading.

Video
Some players may prefer to learn land claiming from a video. As such, here is a video to show how claiming works. Pleas be aware, however, that this video is not specific to MMCC and some minor details may be different. <br>
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hE4f72U9eNI

Claims
On MMCC, all protected land is organized into "claims." Each claim is a rectangle in the world owned by a player in which other players and the environment are restricted from building or breaking any blocks.

To claim, open your inventory and click this icon:

You should see a topdown map of your surroundings.

To claim an area, simply click the area where you want to claim. To chunkload, simply shift+click on the claimed area you want to chunkload. To learn more about chunkloading, please visit

Trusting
You may at some point decide that you want to allow other players to access your claims. You can do this by adding a player to your team. To do this, click on the + button in your inventory. Here you can use the Feed the Beast utilities GUI to add someone to your team. You can then set whether members of your team have access to building, accessing containers such as chests, or using devices such as levers.

Note: Claims are defined as 2-dimensional areas (meaning the area you claim will protect everything between Y=0 and Y=256), so you only need to set two corners.
About the Server
Modded Minecraft Club is a network with an emphasis on community and the player. Our goal is to create a safe, respectful, lag-free, fun, player-versus-environment, SMP community in Modded Minecraft. Right now, we have a server on the Direwolf20 1.10 pack, FTB Beyond pack, Age of Engineering pack, and a server on the nostalgic Mindcrack pack. In addition to all of these wonderful servers, we have a responsive staff, forums, and even a Discord server (see the quick links section below).
