Overview
When first joining the server, players are given the Guest rank.
Member is a rank that can be accessed for free by all players. Note that the Ironman rank is exclusive to GTNH Ironman.
How to be promoted
To become a member, you simply need to establish yourself as part of the server by building a few basic machines. As with any complex modpack, our modpacks allow for many ways to accomplish the same thing. The basic task you must perform to become a member is to make a modded ore processing setup that meets the following requirements:
- It has a single input and a single output,
- It duplicates ores (one ore to at least two ingots).
- All steps are automated
Note: For All The Mods: Gravitas, you only need to have a Copper tier or higher anvil.
Chunk loading is not required.
Once you have a proper setup, head over to Discord to verify and post in #member-apps with a screenshot of your setup along with your Minecraft username and the server name in a single post. A staff will then review your application and either approve it or reject it with a message on what you need to change. You can send another application with any fixes if a prior one gets rejected.
For a team of players, you may either have each team member send in individual applications or have a single application with multiple Minecraft usernames include. With a single application, please have the other team members on the server discord and ping the staff member who approved the application so everyone has the correct Discord role.
- Please have your screenshot show clearly where the input and output of your setup or the entirety of whatever setup the modpack specifics require. A setup with complexity or busyness in the way won't be rejected automatically, but keeping it simple when possible makes the application less likely to run into any issues.
The exceptions to the basic ore doubling requirements are:
- Modpacks 1.18+: Setup does not have to double ore output.
- GregTech New Horizons & GregTech New Horizons: Ironman: Optional: instead of ore doubling, you can have any LV machine and an appropriate power setup as described above.
- Enigmatica 2: Expert: Ore doubling or an automated smeltery with automatic input and automatic output.
Perks of the Member rank
Once you have been promoted to a member, you gain access to the following additional features (server dependant):
- Extra control over claims
- Access to more claimable chunks
- Access to a limited number of offline chunk loading claims
- The ability to set up infinite /home points
